In the midst of all the big box retailers that there are in this world, Contact PC surely stands out as one of the nicest computer stores that I've been to. Now I'm a fan of you Best Buys and whatnot, but sometimes I do like something other than the cookie cutter stores. Contact PC, is nothing like what I've seen. Just right after entering the store, you are blown away by the array of all the products they have and the cool "coffee shop" like design that they have. It's a pretty sweet theme I must say; quite organized and clean. The cool thing about Contact PC is that they have a wide variety of ASUS products that I have yet to see anywhere in Colorado. From motherboards, to VGA, to notebooks, Contact PC has it all. Their friendly staff is eager to help, and has made me a fan of this store. Most def a place to come back to. Now only if they served coffee....then I wouldn't have to go to Starbucks anymore

Since my last review of 18 months ago, I've had numerous opportunities to have my Asus Photo laptop upgraded and occasionally serviced due to mistakes I have made with Windows 8 (Microsoft's fault, not Contact PC's). Their after sale service continues to be top notch, and they take exceptional care in setting up the computer to the customer's requirements, well after the sale. Sure, you pay for the service; not much free in this world, and that includes the great tech support that Chip and his techs working the bench provide. We got connected with ContactPC when an IT manager whom we had been doing business with decided to make a career change. His referral and their close location to our home (at that point in time) was perfect. No more 30 minute drives. Chip, Michael and the crew have been on top of of issues, updates and system maintenance. We have had to maintain several "legacy-type" machines due to vendors. It is never a hard push to move ahead any further than we need to and the migrations they have done for us have been generally very good. They are there to answer questions, offer options and sometimes just to say "you may want to wait a few months before you make this move while they shake out the bugs." I thought my old laptop was done in and panicked when I was told my accounts were probably being hacked and maybe emptied. Here’s what happened: When my computer began running very slowly and I couldn’t access gmail any longer, I contacted what I thought was Google Help by phone. I allowed the representative to access my computer remotely to “assess the extent of the problems”. He told me that dozens of foreign sites were using my computer and could access my bank accounts and other information—and probably already had. He even showed me on my screen a long list of those sites’ IP addresses. He said he could “fix it” for $369 to start (could go up from there) and keep my information safe in the future (by selling me software). Something didn’t seem quite right, but I was frightened. Before proceeding, I spoke with my daughter who recommended Contact PC. Her company, and she personally, had a long history of working with Contact PC and trusted no one else. I took my laptop to them. As it turned out, the “Google representative” was a fake, had given me erroneous information, and apparently disabled the safety/protection features on my computer. The folks at Contact PC cleaned it all up for me. They installed protective software (at no extra charge) and got my laptop running faster and more efficiently than it had in years. I always viewed computer people like the stereotypical used car salesmen—condescending, speaking computer-ese that no one else can understand, trying to sell you everything but the kitchen sink. But they were empathetic and explained everything in terms I could understand. They could have told me I needed/sold me a new computer, and I wouldn’t have known the difference. But they were honest, and let me know my laptop was still in good shape. They saved me hundreds of dollars and gave me peace of mind. Anne R.

It was money well spent as the machine came back to me operating perfectly. They always go that extra mile to ensure that the computer will work in an optimum manner. Example: After Windows 10 was installed, Michael took the time to remove the "installation files" for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. This frees up space on the all important hard drive, and lets the machine run faster. That's an example of how Contact PC goes very far to ensure a job well done. Was it worth the money I paid for the upgrade to Windows 10? The answer lies in that I have a machine that is trouble free with no annoying distractions because something is not quite right. For me.......the answer is yes.......money well spent at Contact PC.

Over the years, I have used the "services" of the likes of "MicroCenter, Best Buy and Circuit city. MicroCenter being the best of this bunch (not by much!). The repairs were generally expensive relative to the service being performed, suspect and, short lived with the exception of MicroCenter. Eventually these repairs gave way. Having just moved into a new community, I took a chance using ContactPC, Chip & co......His staff advised that my 1980's DELL (top of line 8200) had seen better days and was at the end of its over lived usefulness. He was correct, the unit died in the upcoming weeks, lack of parts and old technology weighed much to heavily to have it fixed. He offered me a M.o.t.r. Asus model at a good price, moved all my files from 3 HD's, installed my software and I was off and running again. That was 3 years ago and with minor maintenance... it continues to satisfy. These are truly upstanding folks... quality products, competitive prices and always available to offer free help. GOOD JOB Chip!

I have always been satisfied with their services and products. The owner and employees are very knowledgeable in their field and very courteous. The prices for their service and repair are quite reasonable, too. I have occasionally emailed their support team with questions and have always received timely responses, and free of charge. This week, I installed Windows 10 on the custom built desktop and notified the support team of the installation. They offered to remote in free of charge to make a couple of tweaks. Also, there is not any high-pressure sales tactics which is important to me. I highly recommend ContactPC for your computer related issues. You will not regret it.

I'm a technological dummy - I don't know a virus from a Trojan horse from spyware, and cookies are something yummy to eat, aren't they? For me, dealing with computer repairs is usually akin to taking my car to the shop - I'm not knowledgeable, often feel condescended, and usually end up feeling like I got ripped off even though I'm not really sure what the mechanic did. I was having multiple issues with my Custom built PC used for heavy photo and video editing (with some gaming on the side). I saw the great reviews and figured the 45 minute drive would be worth it. My PC was worked on by Michael and he started immediately. Turns out I had and controller issue with my motherboard. Michael dealt with everything. He deconstructed my PC and RMA'd the board to MSI , rebuilt it, and tested it all weekend. He worked fast and efficiently. The final price point was very reasonable. I had a 9 year old Apple iMac desktop and I was looking to upgrade to a new machine. A friend recommend I get a custom build machine rather than the newest iMac. I got a quote from an internet place on a custom build Windows 10 machine, but then I checked out ContactPC and their prices were very competitive, plus they made hardware recommendations I hadn't considered. I am very happy with the end result (a new Windows 10 machine) that has more storage, a faster processor, and more memory than the new iMac I was considering and about $2000 less! Contact PC was great in helping me transition from my Apple iMac machine to my new Windows machine too (copying over my data and email).

They have been doing this for many years and it's obvious they love it. Very reasonable prices and willing to help those of us who don't/ can't buy a new computer every year. We went in once a few years ago and they told us our laptop would cost too much to repair, it was time for an upgrade. Then Chip told us where the cheapest place to purchase was! How do you not respect that kind of honesty and integrity??
